Holiday and first feature :)Hello my dear friends,
This is my first journal entry & feature. I chose this day because from Sunday I will be in Portugal for the next 12 days. This means no DA next weeks :(, but I hope to come back recharged :)
First of all, I would like to say that you all are very special to me and I really enjoy seeing, faving or commenting your amazing artworks. Second, I would like to thank :iconDani-Owergoor: for her support and for the beautiful birthday surprise:
She is a wonderful person and artist, with an astonishing creativity and love for art. It's always a pleasure to see her works. Thanks a lot, my dear Dani! :heart:
Also, I want to start the "feature thing" from now on. All these artists I chose for today's feature are amazing persons and artists
and I'm very happy to have them as friends here on DA. Please, enjoy these wonderful artworks and thank you all for your support! :heart:
     
 
After the end of the world featureNow as we survived the end of the world we can finally concentrate on Christmas. I would like to thank you all for your wonderful support at the last year and I am looking forward to the next. I´m very excited about your new pictures which will come soon. The last weeks I had some problems with my inspiration so I spent the time with looking at all your works. This Christmas greeting is a good possibility to show you some of the works I really liked.

Tips and featureI noticed that some of you work in small sizes when doing a photo manipulation. Of course working in small size is easier to cut corners, but most of the time it looks unfinished. You should try working at a higher resolution with high res stocks. It is more challenging to blend elements and to go over each detail. It also allows you to print your work in great quality afterward. My works are always higher than 4000 px width or height depending of the orientation. I resize down a jpg version before uploading to dA. Another tip, use the pen tool for cutting. Nothing really compares to that tool when it's time to perfectly cut something from a photo. :)

It's been only nine months since I joined dA but I feel like I've been here for ages. When I decided to join I had no idea that this place would change my whole life – in positive way of course – but it did it. I've learned lots of things about art and about life in general, discovered so many talented artists and mind-blowing artwork... But most important I've met some amazing people here, some of them I absolutely adore and I'd love to meet in person...
So despite all the drama and all the people who are bitching for everything, all the spammers, trolls etc – yeah, I don't live in a cave or under a rock ;) – I love this place and I love it because of you

Hello my friends!
I miss you all so much, and I miss to be here. I have no computer at the moment. It is on service. They will put a better processor and more working memory. I've been without a computer for a few days now, and if I'm lucky, I get it back this weekend. I really miss my computer, and I miss my photoshop! I miss Deviantart, and I miss you and your wonderful art!
For the moment I am visited my mom and I use her computer to read my email and make this journal.
I just want you to know, and I will soon come back! =D

I've had a fantastic, yet hectic, start to the year. Holidays, the start of a new school year, and going backwards and forwards all day everyday. Today it has all finally caught up with me. I'm exhausted!! On the plus side, the start of the year has been amazing art wise. Hello my DA friends,
I am very sorry for my absence over the last month, the fact is I've been busy with my work, photography, my trip to Athens and also due to some health issue I still have. This month I am a bit less busy so I am trying to see, comment and fav the beautiful works I've missed all this time. Also I would like to say: Thank you Paul (:iconj-u-d-a-s:) for your words (you know what I am talking about) and Karin (:iconsweediesart:) for this beautiful dedication . Paul and Karin are amazing persons and artists with unique styles of manipulation and a great source of inspiration for all of us.
